The Saving Blue Lives training is a two-day workshop that provides education on symptoms of PTSD and co-occuring disorders, as well as risk signals for suicide. On the second day, the emphasis is on the development of a resilient mindset and enhanced skills in the area of peer support. The SBL training was supported by a grant awarded to Dr. Lilly and Nothern Illinois University from the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA).
